When college senior Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) interviews prominent
businessman totally cool car Bumblebee (Bumblebee) for a school paper, she has no idea life is about to go into the fast lane (of sex). Bumblebee, as enigmatic as he is rich full of musical references, finds himself strangely drawn to Ana, and she to him. Though sexually inexperienced, Ana plunges headlong into an erotic journey with this Autobot — and learns that Bumblebee’s true tastes push the boundaries between woman and machine.
FIELD NOTES FROM THE FUNNY OR DIE STAFF
Car maintenance ranks as one of the least sexy things we do with our cars. It’d be so much more fun if checking the oil was as visibly flashy as getting a new paint job or buying some slapping hot rims. But the truth is that car maintenance is one of the most important things you can do for your vehicle (especially if you want to have your car in the future).
Well, car maintenance and sex stuff.
Look. This had to happen. Bumblebee is definitely the freakiest of the Autobots. His form is as a VW Bug, a car that was pretty dang important to the freewheeling, sexually liberated counterculture of the nineteen sixties. And Ana from Fifty Shades — they were bound to hook up at some point. Lady takes more tools to get off than a locking nut on a headlight assembly.
